Mr. Caplan focuses on consumer class actions, plaintiffs' personal
injury, and plaintiff cases generally. He was co-lead counsel in
landmark cases such as Mangini v. R.J. Reynolds (eliminated the
Joe Camel advertising campaign), and Kasky v. Nike (false
advertising of working conditions). He has tried a wide range of
cases including unfair business practices, Proposition 65 (requiring
health warnings to consumers), personal injury and homicide.
